These are the 10 principles of Burningman: Radical Inclusion, Gifting, Decommodification, Radical Self-reliance, Radical Self-expression, Communal Effort, Civic Responsibility, Leaving No Trace, Participation, Immediacy. As Burners in the USA, we attempt to practice these things when at a Burn (with various degrees of success and intensity), but why go to a Burn if your life, ALL 365 days of the year, you do these things? A Burn would no longer be such a unique and beautiful place to escape from the drudgery of the rest of your life would it. Your life would BE one big Burn. If Durgy, you don't have a Burn nearby, maybe you should consider yourself lucky.
